Acampada Jove

Celebrating 25 years in Sant Sadurní

La Pegatina and Buhos, two stand-out Catalan classics; the duo from Sant Andreu de Palomar, Ginestà, the veteran Valencian band, Auxili, the Tarragona all-women’s band, Roba Estesa, and the urban music singer, Lildami, (member of the Euphòria TV show jury) are some of the main attractions of the Acampada Jove festival, which will be held on July 14, 15 and 16 in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia.

This politico-musical festival of the Catalan Countries, organised by the Republican Youth of Catalonia political party since 1996, establishes its itinerant credentials by moving its 25th edition to the capital of the Alt Penedès region, after nine years in Arbúcies, four years in Sant Celoni, and another 11 years in Montblanc.

The festival’s camping format, which gives you the possibility of setting up your tent in a specially enabled area, is one of the event’s most attractive features. It also offers three full days of concerts and the chance to see a total of 21 bands, most of which are up-and-coming and often lesser known, such as Alergicas al Polen, Rudymentari, El Pony Pisador, Ciudad Jara, The Tyets, Xavi Sarrià, Ebri Knight, and La Fúmiga, among others.
