Tarragona’s very own music festival

After last year’s success, the city of Tarragona will hold the second edition of its very own summer music event, the Tarragona Music Festival, with five top concerts until August 6. All the concerts are taking place at the Tarraco Arena, where Catalan sensation Bad Gyal kicked off proceedings on July 8 with her fusion of trap, reggaeton and dancehall music. The Galician all-female band Tanxugueiras take to the same stage on July 22 with a concert in which they will present their latest single, Midas. Then itt is the turn of Nil Moliner on July 29, presenting his new album, Un secreto, in a concert that promises to be full of energy and craziness if his Nuestra Locura Tour lives up to its name.

August 5 is likely to become one of the most memorable days of the summer in Tarragona, when the Tarraco Arena welcomes on stage three of the most popular Catalan pop-rock bands of the moment¨– Oques Grasses, Stay Homas and Els Catarres. With all three playing on the same day, the one-off concert starts at 5.30pm in the evening and will no doubt go on until the early hours of the following morning. The Tarragona Music Festival will come to a close on August 6 with another concert that is a guaranteed success, featuring the twin brothers from Granada, Ayax and Prok, who will bring their own brand of rap to the Tarraco Arena.
