Macron tries to calm “yellow vests”
The French president, Emmanuel Macron tries, without success, to calm the outrage of the “yellow vests”. Macron made “a call for calm” when confronted with another day of demonstrations (called for next Saturday). “The president of the Republic asks the political forces, the unions, the employers to make a clear and explicit call for calm and respect for the Republican framework” said his spokesman.
