May makes desperate appeal for her Brexit deal

Theresa May made a last ditch attempt to galvanise deputies of the British Parliament around her Brexit deal, which will be voted upon this week, writing in the newspaper Sunday Express that they must not “disappoint 17.4 million voters” who wished to leave the EU. However, few in government seem to have changed their view of her plan, since voting on it was delayed in December.
