AMES invests €14 million in Chinese car parts plant

The Catalan automotive company AMES, which manufactures sintered structural car parts, has invested €14 million in a new plant in China. Located in the Wuhu region near Shanghai, the plant is already operational and has a surface area of 3400 m² and 24 employees. The factory will produce parts for both vehicle manufacturers and companies that sell automotive components throughout China, although it is also possible it will cover other Asian countries, depending on future demand.
