WhatsApp users to have 5 minutes to erase messages
The instant messaging app WhatsApp has announced on its support page that deleting sent messages will soon be possible in both individual and group chats, a function users have been calling for for some time. The feature will be compatible for Android, iOS and Windows versions, although a possible release date has not yet been revealed. Users wishing to delete a message will have a maximum of five minutes to do so, and both sender and recipient will need to have the latest version of the app installed.
