Catalan police arrest gang of hotel thieves
Catalan Police have dismantled a network specialised in stealing suitcases and handbags from tourists in hotels in the metropolitan area of Barcelona and coastal areas of Catalonia. In the operation, 23 Spanish, Peruvian, Moroccan and Argentinian citizens were arrested and police believe they are responsible for around 100 robberies. The investigation began in May.
