Putin wants to restrict foreign media in Russia

Russian officials have accused Washington of exerting undue pressure on the workers of the semi- official Russian news agency in the United States RT, half funded by the Kremlin, accused by some of interfering in US politics. Moscow now considers this to be ample justification for invoking a law from 1991 which states that if Russian media is pressured it may apply restrictions.
