Son of killed journalist blames Malta government

The son of Maltese investigative journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia, who was murdered on Monday, yesterday denounced the “culture of impunity” in the country and blamed Joseph Muscat’s government and other authorities for her death. Caruana wrote a personal blog about corruption and died when her car exploded a few metres from her home. “My mother has been murdered because she put herself between the rule of law and those who wanted to violate it,” Mathew Caruana said yesterday.
