Security at German markets reinforced

Security around Germany’s traditional Christmas markets has been reinforced with concrete pylons, more police presence and controls. This Tuesday marks the anniversary of the attack that took place in Berlin, the German capital, in one of the Christmas markets last year which left 12 dead and over 100 wounded. The markets are a popular venue and receive 85 million visitors each year.
