The year 2017 was one of the hottest and driest yet
2017 will be remembered as a hot year, in fact one of the warmest of the past 20 years according to data from meteorological stations, with some observatories recording temperatures 10º over the average. The Ebro Observatory recorded its hottest temperatures in 113 years. As for rainfall, 2017 was dry in most of the country, with some exceptions, mainly in the western Pyrenees.
