Architects warn recovery in sector is not general
The building sector has not recovered in the country as a whole says Catalonia’s architects association, COAC. While activity has picked up in and around Barcelona, it is not the case for the rest of the country, insists the association. According to official figures gathered by COAC, building permits went up 9% in 2017, accounting for 3.9 million m², compared with 23 million in 2006.
