Police arrest false gas company employees
Catalan police have arrested four people who were passing themselves off as gas operators to defraud and rob the elderly. Police sources say the four are linked to 21 incidents of theft, forgery and misrepresentation. Those arrested, aged between 34 and 38 selected elderly victims living alone and sometimes suffering from cognitive disorders such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.
