Iberian lynx finally captured near capital
The technical team of the Iberlince project brought in from Seville and the Rural Agents of the Generalitat yesterday captured the Iberian lynx ’Litio’ near Barcelona. The lynx which was seen last week in the metropolitan area had been missing for 19 months after it disappeared from Portugal. The animal, of a species in danger of extinction, was captured near Santa Coloma de Cervelló.
