Vallecas voters opt for republic against monarchy
Citizens in the Madrid district of Vallecas voted in favour (89%) of the constitution of a republic and to guarantee the right to directly decide on the model of the state. A total of 7,270 people participated in the consultation organised last Saturday by the group Vallekas Decide in 33 polling tables. The questions were formulated along the lines of the November 9 consultation in Catalonia in 2015.
