Zealots attend last masses for Francisco Franco

Some 600 die-hard zealots headed for the Valle de los Caidos near El Escorial over the weekend to attend masses dedicated to the former Spanish dictator Francisco Franco. Most were taking advantage of the final opportunity to visit Franco’s grave before central government orders the exhumation of the dictator’s body. Many of the visitors took photos beside the tomb.
