Record number of junior girls’ teams in volleyball
Catalonia’s Volleyball Federation has registered a record in the inscriptions of female junior teams. In the first and second divisions there are now 104 female teams and in the four years the number of junior teams has almost doubled. In the 2015/16 season there were just 56 junior girls’ teams and this year there are 88 teams registered. The teams are spread through nine groups.
