FT defends economic health of Catalonia

A Financial Times article published on Tuesday stated that “the worst fears of investors and economic leaders” during the independence process in Catalonia “have not materialised” and the economic situation is “much more hopeful” than it seemed. The newspaper quotes businesspeople and investors who say that the “political tensions” of last year have had “zero” or an almost “imperceptible” impact on their businesses and states that foreign companies do not seem concerned about the situation.
