New York’s MoMA puts spotlight on Catalan films

New York’s Museum of Modern Art yesterday began the film series, Catalan Cinema’s Radical Years, 1968–1978. Curated by Esteve Riambau, head of Catalonia’s film archive, the series runs until November 10. Films to be screened include El sopar (Pere Portabella), La ciutat cremada (Josep Mª Forn),Ocaña, retrat intermitent’ (Ventura Pons) and L’orgia (Francesc Bellmunt).
