Fina Puigdevall wins national gastronomy prize

Chef and owner of Les Cols restaurant in Olot, Fina Puigdevall, has won the National Gastronomy Prize for 2019. Catalonia’s Academy of Gastronomy and Nutrition awarded Puigdevall the prize in recognition of her contribution to Catalan cuisine. Puigdevall restaurant’s has two Michelin stars and has become one of the most prestigious in the country. The academy also recognised chef of the Estimar restaurant in Barcelona, Rafa Zafra, and Joan Carles Núñez, of the Lasarte restaurant.
