Espanyol present five year plan to wipe out debt

Espanyol yesterday presented its strategic plan for the next five years to be put before shareholders on June 3. The plan foresees wiping out the club's 190-million-euro debt by 2021 and raising revenue to 125 million euros at a rate of 7% annual growth. The revenue rise will be based on sponsorship and exploitation of the stadium. “This club has to be self-sufficient,” said CEO, Ramon Robert.
