Catalan firm invents personal DNA storage
The Catalan ’start-up’ Family Synergy has created a DNA storage service which allows users to keep a DNA sample at home. The preservation of DNA helps to detect possible genetic diseases of a cardiovascular, neurodegenerative and oncologic nature, and permit their use in finding new personalized treatments in the future. Family Synergy is part of the Action EsadeCreapolis programme.
