Merkel and Schulz mover closer to coalition
Discontent among members of the SDP (Socialists) regarding a possible coalition government with Angela Merkel’s CDU have forced the chancellor to make further concessions in negotiations with Martin Schulz. The talks have gone on longer than expected but it does seem there is some progress in areas of property speculation and municipal debt which may help seal an agreement.
