Roadworthiness test updated for new technology

Catalonia’s roadworthiness testing authority (ITV) will from this week incorporate a series of innovations aimed at adapting the test to modern vehicles equipped with new technologies. One of the main changes will be reading onboard-computers to check that emission recordings have not been tampered with. The system will also allows users to carry out follow-up tests in other centres.
