A dose of relief for the families of the political prisoners. Jordi Turull, Josep Rull and Quim Forn arrived yesterday in the Lledoners prison, in Bages, transferred from Madrid. The Guardia Civil handed the prisoners over to the Mossos d’Esquarda at the Brians II prison at noon and they were immediately taken to join Oriol Junqueras, Raül Romeva, Jordi Sànchez and Jordi Cuixart, who were transferred last week. The former Speaker Carme Forcadell and Dolors Bassa are in the prison of Puig de les Basses, in Figueres. A hundred pro-independence protesters lined the road leading to the prison with yellow ribbons and cries of “freedom”. Protests have been called for this afternoon.
