Markers found to predict success of immunotherapy
Treatment with immunotherapy, making the body’s own defence system fight tumours, is showing great progress in the treatment of cancer, and Manel Esteller’s team at the Bellvitge Institute of Biomedical Research has now found an epigenetic marker that predicts the effectiveness of the most common immunotherapy in lung cancer patients.
