Barcelona assists 74% more asylum seekers
In the space of one year, the Barcelona City Council has assisted 74% more immigrants who plan to seek asylum in Spain and who met the requirements and the profile to do so. Until July, the number of cases in the Migrant and Refugee Service was 4,567 a figure that exceeds the total of the entire previous year, 4.405. It is not known how many applications were successful.
