False cancer therapies in the crosshairs
Catalonia’s Department of Health has passed on to the State Prosecutor’s office information relating to five cases of conferences or websites that disseminate scientifically untested and unverified treatments and therapies that claim to combat serious diseases such as cancer. the Department Secretary Laura Pelay, warned that at best the effectiveness of these pseudotherapies is “very limited” and often, extremely dangerous. Her department will created a reference board to warn consumers.
