Tsunami alert level increased in Indonesia

Further activity at the Anak Krakatoa volcano, which last Saturday caused a tsunami, killing 430 people and leaving over 150 missing, in the Strait of Sonda in Indonesia, has meant that the Volcanology Institute has raised its tsunami alert level from 2 to 3, out of 4. The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) banned any activity within 5km of the crater.
