Celler 9 + (Nou de Gaià)

A project created in 2010 by an agricultural engineer and oenologist, Moisés Virgili, with a long career in wineries in Chile, South Africa, Priorat, Terra Alta, and Penedès, among others. He started the Celler 9+ project with the aim of recovering the family winemaking tradition, with the philosophy that the future must be environmentally respectful and sustainable. In 10 years, they have gone from an initial 5,000 bottles of wine to a target of 100,000 bottles. They are thus expanding their facilities so as to continue raising the production of organic and sparkling wines, a range that has been very well received by the market. The wines produced and marketed by Celler 9+ come exclusively from its own vineyards, about 14 hectares, distributed between the villages of Vespella de Gaià, La Pobla de Montornès, La Nou de Gaià and La Riera de Gaià, growing varieties such as white and red cartuixà, and macabeo for white wines, and garnaxa, cabernet, sumoi, petit verdot and tempranillo for the reds. The quality guarantee of their wines is based on a rigorous harvest and selection of the grapes, together with the application of the appropriate technology and the hygiene that must be maintained at all times.

Lola Bistro (Altafulla)

Lola Bistro is a restaurant that imitates the atmosphere and decoration of French “bistros”. In addition to its vintage style, it offers quality dishes made with local, seasonal products. It is an ideal place for tapas and to try some of the almost 50 wines on their menu. The chef, Ivone, and her partner, David, the maître d, want those who visit them to enjoy an authentic experience; a pleasant time in company, where they can share slow food cuisine made with local ingredients that always provide delicious flavours even for the most demanding palates. This is an ideal restaurant to share tapas. But they are also now offering new and original dishes made with fish and seafood from the Tarragona coast, selected meats, and local, organic and seasonal vegetables that bring the true taste of fresh, natural and healthy food. Their healthy meals can be paired with their excellent wines full of personality.
